RECOVERING ORCHIDS

A while back, I wrote about rescuing two old orchids from the brink of death. Aggressive root and leaf pruning, repotting, positioning in southwest light, regular fertilization, and clockwork watering has resulted in two emaciated specimens now bursting into full bloom.

Here's the Phalaenopsis, with three blossoms and two more on the way.
